Job Title: Storekeeper

Expectations of the Management:

The management expects the warehouse store keeper to diligently oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels, organized storage, and impeccable quality control. Timely order processing, adherence to safety protocols, and effective communication with other teams are essential. The store keeper should troubleshoot challenges, maintain equipment, and keep accurate records. Proactively identifying efficiency enhancement opportunities further demonstrates a commitment to streamlined warehouse operations.

Job Description:

  1. Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and record all incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Update inventory records regularly to reflect stock levels and availability. Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchase orders as needed to maintain optimal stock levels. Conduct periodic stock audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
  2. Storage and Organization: Arrange and store items in an orderly manner to maximize space utilization and ease of retrieval. Categorize and label items appropriately for quick identification. Ensure that all goods are stored safely and securely to prevent damage or loss.
  3. Stock Rotation and Shelf-Life Management: Implement a first-in, first-out (FIFO) system to ensure older stock is used before newer stock. Monitor expiration dates and manage stock rotation, accordingly, minimizing product waste and ensuring the availability of the goods.
  4. Dispatch and Distribution: Prepare and pack items for delivery or distribution to the appropriate departments or customers. Coordinate with other departments or teams to fulfill orders accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records of goods dispatched and ensure proper documentation is completed.
  5. Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to check the condition of goods and identify any damaged, faulty, or expired items. Report any quality issues to the relevant department or supplier and follow up on replacements or returns.
  6. Equipment and Maintenance: Operate and maintain storage equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or conveyor systems, ensuring they are in good working condition. Arrange for repairs or maintenance as necessary to prevent disruptions in operations.
  7. Safety and Security: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Follow security procedures to prevent theft or unauthorized access to inventory. Report any safety or security concerns to the appropriate authorities.
  8. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, and withdrawals. Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and any discrepancies. Provide regular updates to management regarding stock status and potential issues.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
  • Basic computer skills, including knowledge of spreadsheet software
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects or operate equipment as required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision


  • Basic Salary: 3000 SAR / month

  • Duty: 8 Hrs (8am to 5pm) with 1 hr. break
